Arc of Maui County
Providing services to families and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1954
Arc of Maui County promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We actively support programs and services that assure full inclusion and participation in the community throughout life.
People with developmental disabilities are defined by their strengths, abilities and inherent value, not by their disability. They are entitled to the respect, dignity, safety and security enjoyed by other members of society; and are equal before the law.
A developmental disability can be cognitive, physical or both, and begins before adulthood. Its effects are long term and alter essential life functioning activities.
We are excited to announce our new partnership with Maui County Federal Credit Union and their Community Giving Program where each quarter employees select a local non-profit to raise funds for. Through the month of August, donations made at any MCFCU branch will be matched dollar for dollar up to $2,500 by the organization. Funds will go towards programs and services for our participants. Donations can be made at their Wailuku or Lahaina locations. Please share with your family and friends and visit mauicountyfcu.org for more information.
Please note, if donating on Arc's website, please notate donation is for "MCFCU Donation" for the dollar for dollar match. Mahalo!
